Terms of Service for TerriTool for ChatGPT

01Eligibility and accounts

• You must be at least 18 and hold an active TerriTool account with a current subscription. Manager tools require a TerriTool manager role; the Plugin cannot grant one.
• Sign in only with your own TerriTool credentials, on TerriTool’s hosted sign-in page. Do not share tokens or connect the Plugin to an account you are not authorized to use.
• You are responsible for actions taken through your connection, including actions you confirm in ChatGPT. Disconnect the Plugin in ChatGPT if you believe your connection is compromised and tell us at support@territool.com.

02Permitted and prohibited use

You may use the Plugin to manage your own TerriTool data and, as a manager, the team data your role already permits. You agree not to:

• attempt to access accounts, teams or data outside what your TerriTool role allows, or to circumvent role, subscription or credit checks;
• use the Plugin to scrape, bulk-export or resell TerriTool data, lead results or contact records, or to build a competing database;
• use contact details obtained through the Plugin in violation of applicable law, including telemarketing, anti-spam, do-not-call and privacy laws such as the TCPA, CAN-SPAM and the CCPA;
• probe, overload or interfere with the TerriTool MCP server, or send automated traffic other than through ChatGPT acting on your instructions;
• misrepresent Plugin output as verified fact to third parties without checking it;
• use the Plugin for any unlawful purpose.

03Credits and purchases

Saving AI leads and redeeming contact details consume TerriTool credits at the rates shown in your TerriTool account. The Plugin shows a preview and cost and performs the action only after you confirm in ChatGPT. Confirmed credit deductions are final except where TerriTool’s subscription agreement or applicable law requires otherwise. If a confirmed action fails, credits are not deducted; if you are unsure whether an action completed, check your TerriTool account before repeating it. The Plugin does not collect payment credentials. Credit purchases and subscription changes are made in the TerriTool web or mobile app and are governed by your subscription agreement.

04AI results and third-party data

Lead candidates, contact records, business details and route suggestions come from TerriTool’s own data, third-party data providers and AI-assisted lookups. They may be incomplete, outdated or wrong. ChatGPT may also summarize or misstate a tool result. Verify important details before relying on them, especially contact information, business hours and addresses. The Plugin cannot send email, place calls or make payments; any such claim in a chat is not a Plugin action.

05Third-party services

ChatGPT is provided by OpenAI under its own terms, and your ChatGPT workspace administrator may limit or disable the Plugin. Mapping and place data come from Google Maps Platform. Contact discovery uses FullEnrich, OpenCorporates and AI model providers. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy or terms of these services.

06Availability and changes

We may change, suspend or discontinue the Plugin, its tool catalog or its instructions at any time, including to meet OpenAI directory requirements. We may require you to reconnect or install an updated package. The Plugin may be unavailable during maintenance or when a third-party service is down.

07Intellectual property

TerriTool and its licensors own the Plugin, the TerriTool MCP server, the plugin packages, instructions and documentation. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-transferable license to use them with your TerriTool account for your internal business purposes. You keep ownership of the data you enter. You grant TerriTool the rights needed to store, process and return that data in providing the service.

08Disclaimers and liability

THE PLUGIN IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TERRITOOL IS NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA OR BUSINESS, ARISING FROM THE PLUGIN. TERRITOOL’S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR CLAIMS RELATING TO THE PLUGIN IN ANY TWELVE-MONTH PERIOD IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TERRITOOL FOR THE SERVICE IN THAT PERIOD. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

You will indemnify TerriTool against claims arising from your misuse of the Plugin or of data obtained through it, including violations of contact, marketing or privacy laws.

09Termination, law, contact

• Termination. You may stop using the Plugin and disconnect it at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these terms, if your TerriTool subscription lapses, or if required by law or by OpenAI. Sections 4, 7, 8 and 9 survive termination.
• Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in California, unless your TerriTool subscription agreement specifies a different dispute process, in which case that process applies.
• Changes to these terms. We may update these terms. The effective date and version above will change and material changes will be noted on this page. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
• Entire agreement. These terms, the Privacy Policy for TerriTool for ChatGPT and your TerriTool subscription agreement are the complete agreement for the Plugin. If any part is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
